Joseph Tkalcic Architecture Studio (JTAS) is an Edmonton-Based Architectural firm. JTAS has a deep history, going back 2 ½ decades with Joe Tkalcic as a principal/partner through a lineage of the original firm, Arndt Tkalcic Architects, in 1998. That evolution took the original firm to a staff compliment of over 70 employees, which was purchased by Stantec.

Revived in 2020, after departing Stantec, JTAS continues its reputation as a prominent architectural firm serving private, public, and not-for-profit clientele.

Client-focused, JTAS is an architectural practice offering visioning, planning, and architectural design, working on over two dozen building typologies through its history.

In September of 2025, JTAS launched a shared collaborative studio with Frank Hilbich Architect Inc. (FHAI), reuniting with Rui Nakao, partner of FHAI, who collaborated and worked exclusively with Joe Tkalcic for over 12 defining years with Architecture|Tkalcic Bengert and Arndt Tkalcic Architects. This collaborative studio supports a compliment of 25 professionals and technologists.
